VIRGINIA BEACH –
Starting tonight, the Virginia Department of Transportation will extend the hours of the ongoing flagging operations on Greenwich Road to complete a traffic shift related to the I-64/264 Interchange Improvements Project.
Lane closures under flagger control will be in place continuously beginning as early as Friday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 20. During this time, flaggers will manage traffic flow on Greenwich Road and direct motorists around the lane closures, 24-hours a day. These hours are subject to change based on weather conditions.
Crews will be mindful of any impacts to surrounding streets, with an additional flagger stationed near Witchduck Road to monitor traffic in that corridor.
Access to businesses and properties along Greenwich Road will be maintained at all times.
