Effective immediately,

All individuals attending activities at First Lutheran Church are required to wear a facial mask covering mouth and nose thru January 30th.

This mandate is instituted for the following reasons:

1. to avoid a temporary closing of the church

2. to support our neighbors in the education and

healthcare fields

Voting Members to Synod Assembly!

Our congregation can send up to six voting members of the upcoming Synod Assembly. This year we will have an ELECTION of the Bishop, an important event for the future of our Synod. If you want to be part of this process please contact Pastor Scott

The 2022 Nebraska Synod Assembly will gather in person this year! Voting members from congregations across the state will gather to engage in conversation concerning the election of a Bishop. All participants will have opportunities for continued learning, fellowship, and learn more about the ministries of the Nebraska Synod.

When: June 3-4, 2022

Where: Kearney, NE

First Lutheran covers the costs for all Voting Members to the Synod Assembly

Congregational Forums

Forums on the business of the congregation will held on SUNDAY mornings from 9:30- 10 am, January 16th and 23rd in the sanctuary. This will be an opportunity for people to ask questions, and to see how First Lutheran has fared in the past year.

Also TUESDAY, JANUARY 18 at 7 pm there will be an on-line ZOOM forum with Pastor Scott. Please email pastorscott@firstlutheranblair.org for a link.

ATTENTION High School Seniors and College Students: The Christian Growth Board is accepting scholarship applications for the 2022-2023 school year for post-secondary education. Any member of FLC that is currently a high school senior or college student may apply. Applications are available on the church website or by the Welcome Center. If you have any questions please call the church office at (402) 426-4073.

The deadline to submit an application is April 15, 2022.



We are now livestreaming our worship services on Facebook Live. Please join FLC Blair's Facebook page, and be alerted whenever a livestream begins. Each Livestream will begin as the regularly scheduled worship time. This is a real-time, virtual worship experience, and we invite you to join us if you can't

be with us in person.

Offering Envelopes

The 2022 Offering Envelopes are out for you to pick up. The Offering Envelopes are in alphabetical order on a table in the Narthex. Please stop by and pick your envelopes up. If you have any questions please contact Dawn in the Church office

Social Concerns Announcements:

Please note there is both a plastic and a wooden Receptacle for gifts to the WASHINGTON COUNTY FOOD PANTRY are available to receive your food donations at FLC at any time! 

Driver Needed to deliver Meals

We are looking for 1 driver to deliver Mid Week Meals for FLC. It would be 2 times a month on Wednesdays to start between 5:00pm & 5:30pm. It would not take more than an hour to deliver meals to people in the Blair Community. We are needing someone starting in October. Please contact Erika if interested at (402) 533-0918.
