FLC’s 9th annual God’s Work Our Hands event is slated for September 18, 19, & 22nd.  Plan to join during services and hear from representatives of Lutheran Service Corps.  We plan to partner with them in support of their mission and kick off a “Pack the Pantry” opportunity to assist volunteers who do outreach in the Omaha area. More details will be shared during the event. We hope you can join!

Please note there is both a plastic and a wooden Receptacle for gifts to the WASHINGTON COUNTY FOOD PANTRY are available to receive your food donations at FLC at any time!

This year First Lutheran gardeners will be donating vegetables and fruits to be given to families who receive the food assistance through First Lutheran Church. FLC gardeners are asked to bring their donated vegetables and fruits to the church on Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or, preferably, on Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Signs will be in place directing the donors as to where in the Fellowship Hall the vegetables should be placed. Because of this change, gardeners are encouraged to stick with the basic vegetables or fruits which they have grown. Thank you in advance to ALL of our generous FLC gardeners!
