BUILDING SECURITY - SIGNING IN/OUT

All students and parents/guardians will enter FLEX through door A. Door B (used in the past) will remain locked. This is to eliminate the amount of people we have in our building. A staff member will be located in the commons. They will let you and your child into the building. The Ipad will be located in the commons for you to sign in/out.

Families need to drop students off by 9:00 AM. Students can be picked up after 3:00 PM. If you need to drop/pick up your student outside of these hours, please email the site leadership team. note: families on half day contracts will need to enter the main office during the noon hour for pick up and drop off.

All families have the option of dropping their child off outside of Central and having their child walk themselves in. You can also have your child sign themselves out in the afternoon and walk out to meet you. Families wanting to utilize this option will need to complete the release form (click here)
LOCKER LOCKS

All FLEX students will be assigned a locker. Locks must be on lockers. Locks are available for purchase for $5. Locks can be purchased at the open house on June 11th or from the main office. Your student can continue to use this lock for their middle school career. If you student is currently in middle school, please have them bring the lock they are using. Please email the site leadership team if you student cannot afford a lock.

FIELD TRIPS

  • Most field trips will leave after lunch. However, there may be some field trips that we ask you to pack a bag lunch. You will be notified of these special occasions in advance.
  • We ask that students wear their 'field trip shirt' on each field trip. You will receive this shirt on the first day of summer, and it is yours to keep. We also recommend tennis shoes for all field trips.
  • The cost of field trips is covered by your daily tuition. However, there may be some field trips where you have the option to bring additional spending money or purchase additional items. We will notify you of these special circumstances.
