Dear Fremont RE-2 Community
Please join me today as we welcome Jeremy Nix to his new role as the Athletic Director / Assistant. Principal at the Florence Jr/Sr High School.
Mr. Nix is a long-standing team member of our District. He began teaching PE for RE-2 in 2007 and has been involved with our athletic programs since 2000. His coaching career includes football, wrestling, track, and basketball. Jeremy is another 'homegrown' talent in our district. Jeremy also provided strong teacher leadership during the development of the Jr/Sr high school programs. We're so excited to welcome him into his new role.
Mr. Nix will take the reins as the Athletic Director beginning the 2022-23 school year, pending Board approval on August 8, 2022.
Mr. Nix will also remain head football coach of the Florence Huskies.
