At the 2022 LACBA Family Law Installation and Awards Dinner, FMBK Partner Tom Simpson introduced Bob Brandt and handed him the LACBA Spencer Brandeis Award, which is the highest honor bestowed by the Family Law Section of the LACBA.

FMBK Associate Chelsea Stevens recently attended the 2022 AAML National Institute for Family Law Associates in Chicago. During the weekend-long program, each associate was assigned an individual AAML Fellow who served as their mentor and personally guided the associate through all aspects of the program.
The Institute provided Chelsea the opportunity to learn from and network with some of the best experts in the country. She returns from the program confident and eager to implement newly learned skills in her practice!

For the past 14 years, the FMBK summer program has aimed to provide law students with a well-rounded family law learning experience, including exposure to areas such as client intake and relations, settlement strategy and negotiations, discovery, litigation preparation and practice, and law practice management. We were lucky to welcome three exceptional rising law school 3L's to our program this year, all of which have a strong passion for family law.
