Last Meeting of the Year

Steve Mindel served as the 2021-2022 Chair for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Family Law Section, the largest county bar family law section in the United States. For the last meeting of the term, Steve and Nancy Mindel hosted FLEXCOM Members, Past Chairs, and Honored Guests for dinner at their home, where Steve and his team cooked an impressive variety of delectable appetizers, dinner dishes, and desserts.

Steve will now honorably pass the torch to SoCal. AAML Fellow, CFLS, and Head of the Cultural Competency Program, Abbas Hadjian.
Abbas (pictured left) will formally take over as Chair on August 6, 2022 at the LACBA FLEXCOM Installation Dinner at the Skirball Center where FMBK partner Bob Brandt will be presented with the Spencer Brandeis Award.

Successfully Launched the Annual AAML SoCal Trial Institute
|
|
For the three Deans, the past year+ planning the Institute included countless hours of meetings, frequent regrouping due to event date changes, and many uncertainties regarding large group events post Covid-19.
|
|
|
|
|
After the rollercoaster year, the Deans were finally able to see the 2022 Institute come to fruition this past March. Many thanks to the AAML fellows that continuously stepped in to help, Scott Finkbeiner, Annette Hall, Sandra Mayberry, Stephen Hamilton, and Shannon Miles to name a few. |
