I am pleased to share that Dean Flotte announced the appointment of Tracy Kedian, MD as the new Associate Dean for Admissions for the T.H. Chan School of Medicine. We are so fortunate to have Family Medicine represented by such a capable leader in such an important role at the school.
As the Dean shared, “Dr. Kedian is passionate about the mission of diversity, equity and inclusion across all her domains; deeply committed to the support and success of underrepresented students at UMass Chan; and leads the Jump Start program provided to all medical students prior to matriculation. As director of the Center for Academic Achievement, she has been a leader in the study of equity in assessments, and she leads the Longitudinal Progression and Assessment Team in preparation for the rollout of the VISTA curriculum.”
