FMCSA 5-Year Refresher Training Now Available!

All Certified Medical Examiners who have been certified for 5+ years should have just received an email from FMCSA's Christine Hydock.

Examiners with >5 years certification have until December 31, 2022 to complete the training.

The directions in the email are as follows:

  • Login to your National Registry account and select "Periodic Training Due" from the menu options on the left side of the screen

  • Follow the instructions to download, complete, and certify that you have completed the periodic training

  • Print the certification of completion, enter you name, sign and date, scan and save a copy on your computer

  • Return to your National Registry account and select the "Periodic Training" menu item once again

  • Upload your certificate of completion and click “Certify Completion of Periodic Training"
Be sure to retain a copy of your certificate of completion for your records
