Addition Verbiage to Expiring Forms
MER (MCSA-5875) & MEC (MCSA-5876)
FMCSA just published a new Medical Examiner Report Form (MCSA-5875) with an identical change to the Medical Examiners Certificate (MCSA-5876) to shortly follow.
The expiration date has not changed but a note has been added to the top of the form which reads:
"Please note, the expiration date on this form relates to the process for renewing the Information Collection Request that includes this form with the Office of Management and Budget. This requirement to collect information as requested on this form does not expire."

What does this mean?
Ultimately, this means that ME's can continue to use the current medical exam report form and medical examiner's certificate past the expiration date listed in the top right hand corner.

The content contained on the form and the requirement to collect the requested information does not expire.
