Direct Primary Care, a Doctor Love Story
Dr. Smith used to work for a large healthcare organization. When she and the organization first got to know each other, it seemed promising. They both wanted their patients to be healthy while helping each other succeed. Not long after they got together, things started to change. The waiting room started filling up. Then, Dr. Smith was told her RVUs were too low. She had more labs and test results than she could address by herself, and the organization refused her request for additional clinical staff to help her get all this work done.
