FMLY, 2-2-21, Transforming Grief
Dear Ones,
In today’s installment of “From My Living Room to Yours,” I explore the idea that—at some point—we’ll be able to transform the grief we’re currently experiencing. The first step, however, is acknowledging the depth and breadth of the stress and grief we are all consumed by in the midst of this unimaginable pandemic.
I thought you’d also enjoy having a sneak peek into the newly refurbished walk-in freezer (see above photo). It’s not sexy, but it is VERY practical! The Food Pantry team will not only be able to store more frozen food for our neighbors in need, but our energy efficiency will be a great benefit to our monthly utility bill. Our Giving Tuesday fundraiser collected just over double the amount for the full project (we also have to build a metal cover on the outdoor compressor to prevent the vandalism we’ve experienced in the past), and the balance of those funds are earmarked to directly benefit the Food Pantry. We’ll let you know what project is able to be completed next!
P.S. No matter what we do, the online version of church isn’t going away! If you can’t make it to a gathering via Zoom or when we’re on campus, you’ll still find the worship video to watch at your leisure on the worship webpage.
Deep Dive Book Group
Wednesdays, 7-8 pm
This month we’re discussing Awareness by Anthony De Mello, an Indian Jesuit priest. Join us via Zoom this week (2/3), having read through the “Giving In” chapter, or call 669-900-6833 (meeting ID: 824 9176 3546 / passcode: 890).

Annual Meeting Results
Thank you to all attendees!
With 62 participants, we easily met our quorum. Our Bylaw Amendment was successfully reversed, the four vestry candidates were elected, and financials for 2020 and 2021 were presented. And because our construction project continues to shift, an announcement was made that we’ll review the latest iteration at an upcoming Coffee Hour. For a copy of the Annual Report, click here.
