Update on Honest Servcies Registry Rulemaking

The Solicitations of Contributions proposed rule 5J-7.004 and associated forms published in the Florida Administrative Registry on Wednesday. The proposed rule and incorporated forms will be open for public comment for twenty-one (21) days. Click here to view the proposed rule changes: Florida Administrative Register.

Federal Funding Update

Yesterday, the House passed the last four fiscal 2026 spending bills, sending them to the Senate. The Pentagon and departments of Health and Human Services, Labor, Housing and Urban Development, Transportation, and Education are funded through one bill; Homeland Security is funded through a separate bill. All provide funding for the remainer of the fiscal year, through September 30th. The Senate must also pass all 12 appropriation bills before January 30th to avoid another federal government shutdown.
