The collections date back to the turn of the century and cover World War I, the Great Depression, and the Civil Rights movement – and this just scratches the surface of the extensive coverage of the US and world events from the past one hundred years.
Within WPA Film Libraries’ music collections are musical shows such as The Porter Wagoner Show, The Dolly Show, and Pop Goes the Country, featuring country music legends like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, Mickey Gilley, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt.
