Fair Oaks Honorary Mayor Kickoff
Meet our Candidates -
Who is going to Raise the most money?
Cliff Leiker - CJL Tax & Accounting
Lou McNerney - Living the Dream
Catrayel Wood - Urban Orchards

Cliff Leiker
Cliff Leiker grew up in the Midwest, but always felt a calling to go West, or, in all probability, did so to get away from the harsh Kansas winters.  He eventually moved to Fair Oaks after a chance encounter at a Sacramento Christian dance with a wonderful woman from Fair Oaks.  Mr. Leiker is a licensed CPA and has worked primarily in the banking industry during his professional career, serving as a bank officer, examiner/analyst, and consultant.  During the last 6 years, Mr. Leiker has been working with individuals and small to mid-sized business owners, providing them with accounting, bookkeeping, tax, and financial management/analytic services.

More Details
Lou McNerney
â€‹I’d like to introduce myself to you. My name is Louis McNerney and I have chosen to run for Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks in 2017.
I have been a resident of Fair Oaks for the past 20 years. I moved here right after my marriage to my lovely wife and started a family. Together we had two beautiful daughters and were living the dream life when my wife, Laurie, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. That was 10 years ago just this March. My daughters and I had to find our way forward during this difficult time. It was the friendships, church families and services that supported us in this community that helped us get through this crisis and helped us get through our significant loss.
Catrayel Wood
Homeownership is an essential element of the American Dream, and so many Americans work hard for safe places and safe spaces to raise their families. I internalized this understanding from an early age, and throughout my life, my family and I have contributed to community efforts and organizations that aim to address homelessness and improve the lives and livelihoods of individuals in need. My work with, and support for, Habitat for Humanity is an extension of my belief in the importance of expanding the American Dream to citizens everywhere.
