Optics Valley is excited to share the latest opportunities and news from our community! The Call for Presentations is now open for Arizona Photonics Days 2026, taking place January 14–16 at the University of Arizona. We are also looking for community input on shaping the future of Optics Valley. In this issue, you’ll find details on exhibit opportunities at Photonics West and the Southern Arizona Tech + Business Expo, upcoming tech events, international conference opportunities, and a warm welcome to several new Optics Valley members.

Arizona Photonics Days 2026:
Submit Your Abstract Today!
The Call for Presentations is now open for Arizona Photonics Days 2026, hosted this year in the Grand Challenges Research Building on the University of Arizona campus from Jan 14 - 16. Industry scientists and engineers are invited to submit abstracts in one of six conference tracks:
- Biomedical Technology
- Astronomy
- Metrology and Systems Integration
- Laser Technology
- Photonic Integrated Circuits and Sensors
- Quantum Technology
Selected presentations will showcase new techniques, processes, trends and insights that advance the scope and impact of optics and photonics technologies across industrial, commercial, and scientific applications. Submissions due by October 31, 2025.

Optics-Photonics Design and Fabrication
The Optical Design Group of the Japan Optical Society will be hosting the International Conference on Optics-Photonics Design & Fabrication (ODF) in Toyama Prefecture, Japan, June 3-5, 2026. They are currently accepting paper submissions, and we encourage Optics Valley members to contribute and join this international exchange. The call for papers is open until December 6th.
