The new digital sign is installed!

Thanks to the Harrison-Bruce Foundations and the perseverance of many, the new digital sign has been installed downtown at the intersection of Division and Grand!

Please watch the digital sign and our Chamber Facebook page for announcements about when we will begin taking requests for messages. We will follow a similar policy for commuinity informational messages as used on the previous sign, but will modify the policy to align with the digital options.

Join us for our annual Regional Chamber Luncheon where members from all southern Illinois chambers gather for networking and knowledge!

This year we are proud to welcome the Illinois State Chamber and Illinois Secure Choice for the Illinois State Treasurer's Office as presenters.

Clark Kaericher, Senior VP of government Affairs of Government Affairs for the Illinois State Chamber and Christine Cheng, Executive Director of Secure Choice for the Illinois State Treasurer's Office will present on topics that could have a direct impact on your small business that include the availability of affordable group health care coverage and a retirement savings program.

This year's event will be held at the Rend Lake College Event Center in Ina, IL.

The Carterville Lions Club is raising funds for local student who is legally blind and in need of specialized glasses. The glasses needed are in excess of $7,000, but to a child in need, they are priceless.

Ever since Helen Keller inspired us to champion the cause as Knights for the Blind in 1925, we’ve served and advocated for the blind and visually impaired. Nearly a century later, this long-standing mission continues unhindered. We hope you will join us in being able to provide the gift of sight and make a difference for a child within the Carterville Community.

*Any money raised in excess of $9,000 will be used by the Carterville Lions Club for vision and hearing services, including purchasing eyeglasses for children in need, within the community.
