FOCUS Volunteer Information Sessions

The FOCUS program is an innovative solution to the lack of connection felt by young people aging out of the foster care system.

FOCUS is seeking volunteers to make a lasting impact on the life of a young adult who has experienced foster care. Volunteers support young adults in their transition to adulthood and help them create the relationships and connections they need to thrive.

Stop by for an informal drop-in information session to learn more about the volunteer opportunities available with FOCUS.

Each year 24,000 young adults nationwide age out of the child welfare system, without the relationships they need for a successful transition to adulthood.

The consequences for these young people can be dire:

50% are homeless within a year

3% will graduate from college

Almost 50% are unemployed

Young people deserve better!

Are you ready to be a part of the solution?
