Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month!


Although our volunteering and spectating opportunities have been significantly modified this season, we are happy to be back out supporting our athletes. Thank you to everyone who was able to lend a hand in Shelton April 17th and 18th! We couldn’t have done it without you!! If you have the chance to join us as a volunteer for the May 1st and 2nd regattas we would love to have you! It’s a great way for parents to get to know each other, have a front row seat to great racing and most importantly cheer on our athletes!
April also means that it is time to start celebrating our seniors!! Our seniors will be featured over the next two months as they reflect on their favorite memories of Greenwich Crew and share what they are looking forward to later this year or at some point further in the future. If you see a senior, take the time to congratulate them! Our seniors are amazing students, incredible athletes and simply outstanding human beings who deserve recognition!!

Friendly Reminders for Mid-Atlantic Regionals & Northeast Regionals


Mid Atlantic Regionals, Mercer, NJ (Select Athletes only)
May 8-9
  • Volunteers, parents and spectators will not be permitted.
  • Parents must transport their athletes to and from the regatta site for drop-off and pickup only.
  • FOGC can only provide athletes with drinks and snacks. At this time FOGC cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.
  • Please send your athlete with ample food for both days.
  • Hotel is not needed.
  • As more details become available they will be shared.


Northeast Regionals, Saratoga, NY May 15-16
  • Volunteers, parents and spectators will not be permitted.
  • Parents must transport their athletes to and from the regatta site for drop-off and pickup only. Parents must also act as chaperones for their athletes in a hotel.
  • FOGC can only provide athletes with drinks and snacks. At this time FOGC cannot accommodate dietary restrictions.
  • Please ensure your athlete has ample food for both days of racing.
  • As more details become available they will be shared.

I grew up spending time in Salisbury, Connecticut on Twin Lakes and always wanted to go to Salisbury School. Like many of our athletes, I played other sports such as hockey, soccer and lacrosse, but my love for the water and the lake drew me down to the boathouse.
