Dear Wesley Prep Families,
As you have been made aware, Wesley Prep has partnered with Base Camp Health’s Ascend application to provide a safe and healthy campus environment. Ascend not only tracks your student’s symptoms but uses machine learning to predict COVID-19 outbreaks and clusters before they happen in schools and workplaces.
Each morning, prior to leaving for campus, you will log into Ascend and answer a few questions. This process should take less than a minute to complete and will give you guidance on the recommended course of action for the school day (based on CDC guidelines and Wesley Prep policy). You should take your temperature each day prior to completing the screening.
Since you will be using Ascend daily, it is recommended, but not required, that you add a shortcut to your smartphone or tablet home screen for easy access (or a bookmark on your PC). Instructions for iOS and Android users can be found below.
A system generated email will be arriving soon that will contain a URL link to the application, your username, and instructions on how to set up your password. (Be sure to check your junk folder just in case it gets routed there.)
When you receive your email, we ask that you log into the application, reset your password, and ensure everything is working properly before the morning of Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
