February 2023 Meeting Summary

The DC Secondary Transition Community of Practice provided interactive opportunities to build engagement and relationships, to build a common

understanding of Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLEs), to learn from the field, and to launch the WBLE Peer Solution Circle. Thank you to everyone who participated with such high engagement and thoughtfulness!

Next Steps:

  • Join the Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLE) Peer Solution Circle: Fill out this quick Needs Assessment to indicate your interest in joining and to help us plan its launch!
  • Review and add to our CoP Announcements and Resources Padlet with upcoming events, resources you have found helpful related to secondary transition, or list topics you would like to know more about or can help others with addressing.
  • Connect with us! Schedule a 15–20-minute informational interview so that we can learn more about how this CoP can best meet the needs of our youth and our members or email to share your ideas for a potential meeting topic. Contact Julie Holt at [email protected].
  • Mark your Calendar: Our next meeting will be Friday, March 17th from 10:00-11:30 am. We will be focused on Improving Transition Assessment and Planning Processes, and we look forward to seeing you there. Register here if you have not already done so.
