Thank you for electing me as your next CIFST President! I am excited to take on this role and look forward to a great year!
I would like to express my thanks to our outgoing President,
Michael Nickerson
. Mike provided the association with outstanding leadership, resulting in many productive and beneficial changes. I will be sure to call on him for his guidance, as he continues his journey with CIFST as Past President.
The Board of Directors and I will work hard to meet the challenges that lie ahead. We will continue to focus on our strategic plan and volunteer efforts, to increase the value we bring to our members.
My personal goal is to foster
greater networking
throughout our Sections across the country. I am determined to engage first-hand and hear your opinions, concerns, and recommendations while sharing our strategic plan and vision for CIFST.
The growth and survival of this association depend on the
participation and collaboration
of all its sections. I also want to ensure our
student members
engage with CIFST as they begin new careers in our industry, which is why I will make the effort to visit several universities and colleges.
Finally, I want to thank the Board of Directors for their volunteerism and continued support. I look forward to working with you all and wish everyone a successful year.
