Tippecanoe Arts Federation seeks entries from K-8 students for Youth Art Month, an exhibition running February 17-March 24
Lafayette, IN --    The Tippecanoe Arts Federation invites area youth to participate in the Youth Art Month exhibit, a celebration of art created by children in grades K-8. The deadline to submit artwork is February 16, 2017. Art teachers, private instructors, and homeschool parents may submit student artwork. Artwork will be on display at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation February 17-March 24, 2017. An exhibition reception for artists will take place Friday, February 17, 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, 638 North Street, Lafayette. 

Students in public, private or home schools, in kindergarten through 8th grade are eligible to enter the exhibit. Children in Tippecanoe, Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Jasper, Montgomery, Newton, Pulaski, Tipton, Warren, and White Counties may participate. Any media will be accepted, both 2-D and 3-D. Artwork should be matted, not framed. Artwork should not exceed three feet in diameter. 
Teachers may submit from each of the schools at which they teach. Schools of under five hundred students may submit 8 works total. Schools of over five hundred students may submit a total of 12 works. Please limit selections to only one per child. Students may enter one piece independently by taking it directly to the Tippecanoe Arts Federation.
