NCHS AND TAF ANNOUNCE $300,000 FOR THE ARTS!

Lafayette, Indiana - The Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) is pleased to announce that North Central Health Services (NCHS) will fund a round of capital projects grants for arts and cultural organizations in Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Warren, and White Counties. Since 2004, NCHS has provided over two million dollars in funding for the arts community through grant opportunities administered by TAF. Through this year's competitive grant program, a total of $300,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations for capital projects.

"We are excited to be able to grow the arts with the help of NCHS. Capital grant projects not only revitalize an arts organization, but increases community and economic development in our region as well," said Tippecanoe Arts Federation's Executive Director Tetia Lee. "NCHS makes these advancements possible, and we are so grateful."

About the 2019 Grant Program
Funds may be used for capital projects occurring between October 9, 2019 and July 1, 2020. Each applicant must be a member in good standing with the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and have 501(c)(3) status. In rare circumstances, public library arts and culture capital projects in rural, underserved communities may be eligible for consideration via a fiscal agent.

Timeline
  • Friday, June 7, 4:30 pm - Deadline for Letter of Intent
  • Friday, June 21 - Notification of invitation to apply
  • Friday, August 2, 2019 at 4:30 pm - Deadline for proposals
  • Thursday, September 12 - Signed grant agreements due
  • Wednesday, October 9 - Bravo for the Arts (Grant Awards Reception)
  • 30 days following the completion of funded project - Final grant report submission including:
  • Final grant report (downloadable from www.tippecanoearts.org)
  • Copies of all invoices and proof of payment for expenses incurred with grant funds
  • 2 copies of media releases and photographs (2 hard copies and 1 electronic)
  • Documentation of site visit

An overview of the guidelines for the 2019 NCHS Capital Grants program can be found here . This year's grant process requires interested organizations to complete a Letter of Intent , which is due by June 7, 2019 at 4:30 pm. More information is available here.
