NEW PUBLIC ART AT RED BIRD CAFE

Lafayette, Ind. - The Tippecanoe Arts Federation, in partnership with the Tippecanoe County Public Art Team, is pleased to announce the public unveiling and dedication of new public art pieces at Trish's Red Bird Cafe in Dayton, IN (696 Walnut St). The dedication will take place on Thursday, April 25, at 2 pm. All are invited to attend the official unveiling and dedication.

Alexandria Monik created multiple murals on the outside facade of the restaurant. Monik took inspiration from 1950's aesthetics and each of her paintings recall Red Bird Cafe's history. Trish Brown, the cafe's owner, hopes the colorful murals will attract attention from interstate drivers and share the richness of the roots of this Dayton building.
