NRG-CC005 Protocol Amendment #7

NRG-CC005 Amendment 7 (NCI Version Date: December 10, 2024) was activated on January 21, 2025 in the US. Please review the new protocol version for updates including the patient eligibility age being lowered from 50 to 45. Revised protocol-related documents reflecting this change were posted to CTSU on February 5.

NOTE: Revised patient-facing materials will be posted to CTSU upon approval by the CIRB.

NRG-CC005 Colonoscopy Reporting Has Been Updated

Colonoscopy reporting has been updated for NRG-CC005. Data for the 5 year, 10 year, and any unscheduled colonoscopies will now be collected in one place – the Colonoscopy Reports folder located at the participant level in Rave. Prior to the update, this data was being collected in up to 3 different places – 5 and/or 10 year Colonoscopy Folders, Follow-up folders, and Unscheduled Colonoscopy folders. Colonoscopy data that was previously reported in these folders have been copied over to the new Colonoscopy Reports folder for your convenience. No action is needed for previously reported data.

Moving forward, when it is reported in the Follow-up form or 5/10 year colonoscopy reporting form that a colonoscopy was done, the date of the procedure reported on the form will be used to generate a date specific folder in the Colonoscopy Reports folder. All details regarding the procedure and pathology results are to be reported here.

Example with the Follow-up Form:

Date entered as “13 JAN 2025” on the follow-up form created the “Colonoscopy 13 Jan 2025” folder to report the colonoscopy information.

Please note that no change has been made to the Baseline Colonoscopy reporting.

In addition, the tables on the Colonoscopy Report and Pathology Report forms have been updated to include “None” as a response in the “Location of adenoma or mass” field.
