February 2023
Dear Friends,

We are so thankful for your past membership in Friends of St. Philip’s (FOSP)! FOSP was founded four years ago to support the vital works of St. Philip’s School and Community Center. We continue to build on our purpose to:
  • provide active and continuous support for the school and community center.
  • serve as a liaison between volunteers, the school, and the community.
  • create, promote and host social and fundraising events.
  • aid the administration with activities and volunteer support.
  • assist St. Philip’s School and Community Center financially to further its educational goals and community services.

In 2022, FOSP organized an Employee Family night with food and entertainment, a Back-to-School lunch, and the Faculty and Staff Christmas Party. We also hosted our second annual Bingo, BBQ & the Blues event, which raised over $180,000 to help fund programming.
We are gearing up for a busy Spring of 2023! We'll be helping recognize faculty and staff core values and their dedicated years of employment, and donating an end of the year gift, in addition to coordinating, hosting and financing the Visiting Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) during its once-a-decade accreditation visit, March 26-29. FOSP members will host a welcome event and support the visit with hotel accommodations, daily transportation, meals, and snacks.

St. Philip’s provides an outstanding education for over 260 students each year and mission-driven programming that supports roughly 4,000 neighbors in the surrounding community, including athletics, after-school activities, senior events, senior transportation services, a Thanksgiving Feast, a Christmas Store, a Mother’s Day Store, Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry and many other endeavors.

We have over 200 members and are growing! We would be grateful for your continued support by renewing your membership with Friends of St. Philip’s (starting at $50). To get started or learn more about getting involved, click here

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Tina Stansbury
