Residents of Pelican Sound are invited
to nominate a charity for a grant opportunity!
The mission of the Charitable Foundation is to serve people in need in Southwest Florida. Charities that provide direct services of food, shelter, clothing, health, or education programs (literacy or job skills) are qualified to receive grants. We anticipate that the needs for all charities, including those that serve hurricane IAN victims, will be great this year.
Nominated charities that meet the criterion above will be announced on January 6th and invited to submit a grant application detailing the program or project they are seeking to fund. Final grant awards will be announced on March 31st.
The Charitable Foundation was formed in 2019 to give the Pelican Sound community a voice in identifying which charities the community would support. Please participate in this decision by submitting your nomination.
The nomination window is open through Friday, December 2nd
