In 2022, a series of seven states implemented the first-ever CE obligation for Investment Adviser Representatives (IARs), and since then, it has expanded to 18 states. FPA members who are IARs with more than the de-minimis number of clients in any of the affected states are now subject to this new rule. To help, the team at Kitces.com is offering the second annual Kitces IAR Ethics CE Day on August 29. It’s the perfect opportunity to fulfill the 6 hours of IAR Ethics CE and earn 6 hours of CE for CFP®, CIMA, CPA, and other designations.
Members can register for $199 (general admission) or $149 (Kitces Premier members). Please
identify that you are with FPA Austin when you register!

The FPA Political Action Committee (FPA PAC), the only PAC focused on advancing the financial planning profession, provides an important seat at the table, forges relationships with lawmakers and their staffs, and provides an opportunity to share the financial planning story. There is much work to do and every dollar counts. To help us fight for your profession, we ask you to make a contribution to support your FPA PAC. Whether you contribute $50 or $5,000, every dollar is appreciated and will support advocacy efforts that move your profession forward. | | | |
