It's time for a new year at FPC. Our Bible Study groups are ready for some exciting new studies. We will continue to offer numerous safe options for both women and men. We have something for everyone!!

The Presbyterian Women are looking forward to having circle meetings again this year. It's been a long time! This year's Bible Study is called, "What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women in Matthew's Genealogy of Jesus" by Meryl Blair. The study focuses on Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary.

Our PW welcome all women to join us. We have three circles right now. Circle 2 will begin on Monday, September 13 at 11am at the home of Nancy Craft. Circle 6 will begin on September 14 at 9:45am at the church. Circle 7 will begin on September 21 at 10am at the church. EMAIL SHARON MEARES with any questions or if you are interested in joining a circle.

Our Women's Bible Studies will be studying "Elijah" by Priscilla Shirer. Our morning group will begin on Monday, September 13 at 10am, and our evening group will begin on Tuesday, September 14 at 6:30pm. Due to the current and ongoing spread of Covid, both of these groups will meet by Zoom. Links will be sent by the leaders the week prior to the study.

If you are interested in signing up for one of the Bible study groups and did not attend the last study that ended in May, please EMAIL AMY POSTON for the morning group or EMAIL LYNN JAMES-SMITH for the evening group to receive the link. Women may order their own workbooks, "Elijah Bible Study Book" from anywhere, but no reading is required before the first day. Everyone is welcome!

The Tuesday morning Men's Gathering will continue to meet from 8:30 - 9:30 on Tuesday mornings. This group continued to meet all summer, but they welcome new members! This group is a hybrid group - they meet in person in the session room and via Zoom. The group is currently studying "The History of Christianity II: from the Reformation to the Megachurch". They will decide their next study on October 12.

For a schedule of the lessons, other information about the course, or Zoom information, please EMAIL JAY CRANE. You may also call him at 828-495-8606 or text him at 828-850-0421.

Finally, the Men's Group meets in person at the church on Friday mornings at 6:30am. Everyone is welcome, and this Bible study will resume on Friday, September 10. EMAIL WHIT MALONE for more information on the Men's Group.
