Preaching: Eddie Bellis

Coordinator of Children & Family Ministry at First Presbyterian Church, Franklin is a part-time position that provides leadership, vision, and coordination for ministries serving children (birth through 5th grade) and their families. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships; fostering spiritual growth in Christ; and cultivating a vibrant, welcoming, and joyful Christian environment. The Coordinator works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and church leadership to develop and sustain a thriving children and family ministry within the life of the church.

Thank you to all who supported our children in their Stand for Smiles on Sunday benefiting The Jiselle Lauren Foundation. We raised $1,517 to help bring joy to kiddos with disabilities! What a generous congregation!

On September 2, at 6 PM, the whole church is invited to attend a special dinner fundraiser all about our Youth Group's summer adventures! Our students and Adult Participants will share about their experiences at HS and MS Montreat, Appalachia Service Project, and Mission Nashville, and we'll partake in a delicious meal together.

The money raised from this fundraiser dinner will go toward our Youth's trips NEXT summer, in 2027. It'll be here before we know it!

Suggested pricing: $10 per adult/youth, $5 per child, $25 family max, but since this is a fundraiser for our Summer Trips, we welcome extra donations and gifts.

Please sign up so we can know how many to cook for!

Contact Sam Belcher with any questions.

We will partner with Rise Against Hunger, an international organization that provides shelf-stable meals to people facing food insecurity around the world.

Volunteers will work together to package rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a blend of 18 vitamins and minerals into nutritious meals. Our goal is to pack 15,000 meals, and we need 80 volunteers to make it happen. All ages and abilities are welcome, with roles available for everyone.

There is no cost to participate. When registering, you are not required to make a donation. Simply complete the registration information and reserve your spot. If. you need assitance, please reach out to Catherine Olson.

Invite your friends and neighbors to join us as we help make a difference for families around the world. Register here.
