Sunday Morning Worship

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:15 AM in person and Livestream. Birthday Party for Jesus for all ages is at 9:00 AM, with Common Grounds at 9:45 AM, Sunday Christmas Eve Services at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

You can find past sermons and the upcoming order of worship on our website.

This week's scripture for reflection: Luke 1:26-38

We will have a brief congregational meeting to act to dissolve the pastoral relationship between us and Mary Sellers this Sunday immediately following worship. This is an action required by the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee in keeping with the Book of Order of the PCUSA. It is being expedited in order to allow for Mary Sellers’s transition to her new job on January 2.

Come celebrate the birth of Christ for our annual Birthday Party for Jesus on Dec. 24. All ages will meet at 9 AM in Wilson Hall for cupcakes, crafts, and a reading of the birth of Christ from Luke.

Dec. 24 is the final day to order Advent Poinsettias. Advent Poinsettias for the sanctuary may be given in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one with a $20 donation. All names will be listed on a bulletin insert throughout Advent. Please provide information via the connection card or through the FPC Giving tab when you pay.

If writing a check, please make it payable to First Presbyterian Church (Flower Fund.) Thank you for supporting our flower fund while remembering loved ones.

The flowers add to our worship by reminding us of God’s creation and then are broken down into smaller arrangements and delivered to members of our congregation as a reminder of the love of their church family and of God. If you have a specific date you would like, sign up ASAP. Thank you for providing flowers each week to enhance worship.

More information on the FPC website.

The Meals-on-Wheels program needs your help! We are looking for a driver and rider for 2 routes on Fridays as well as help in the kitchen on Wednesdays. If you are interested in volunteering, you can find contact information for Meals-on-Wheels leaders on the FPC new and ongoing mission page.

You can be a part of FPC's next mission trip. The deadline to register is Jan. 10. More information online.
