Scout Troop 135 would like to thank Pastor Joiner and the entire congregation for being an authentic Christ community for our Scouting family the last 8 decades.

It was a joy to have members of Scout Troop 135 worship with us on Sunday in celebration of Scout Sunday. The First Presbyterian Troop was chartered in 1942, so is now 82 years old. It is 1 troop with 4 patrols including 38 adults and 62 scouts. There have been 175 Eagle Scouts including many FPC members, and our congregation has benefited by many of their Eagle Scout projects. Thank you to Jason Coleman for serving as our Charter Representative, Mat Adams as Committee Chairman, and Michael Donnelly as Scoutmaster. Young men 11 years old, in the 6th grade, or older who are interested are welcome to visit any Monday night at 6:30 PM in Wilson Hall. 

The book is available for $12 in the church office.

The deadline to sign up is today. The study will begin February 7 and go through March 13. Sign up here.

The Fellowship Committee is planning a fun night of dinner parties in various FPC member homes on April 13 and calling it Dinner for 8.

Volunteer with Meals-on-Wheels. We are looking for a driver and rider for 2 routes on Fridays, a driver on Wednesdays as well as help in the kitchen on Wednesdays.
