Donations of new or gently used blankets are being collected in the “Basic Essentials Cart” in Wilson Hall through January 17th. These blankets will be delivered to Downtown Presbyterian Church, where they will help support their ministry to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Thank you for making a difference this winter!
What an amazing turnout for Sunday’s Red Cross Blood Drive! We had 31 donors show up—ZERO deferrals—and collected 31 pints, smashing our goal of 26! That’s enough to help save the lives of up to 93 patients. We even had 4 Power Red units and welcomed 2 first-time donors—so incredible! A huge thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to make a difference. You’re helping save lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Mark your calendars—our next blood drive is May 18th.
Join us on Wednesday evenings starting with dinner at 6 PM in Wilson Hall, followed by the program at 6:45 PM. Adults will gather in Room 211 for engaging speakers and topics, youth will meet in Rooms 117–120, and children in Rooms 101–102. Sharing with the adults are Kimberly Coward on Loving Our Enemies (Jan. 15 & 22), and Bill Carver on Thomas Merton (Jan. 29). Come for a meaningful evening of learning and fellowship!
A workshop will be held Saturday, February 8 at 11:00 AM in the church kitchen to demonstrate arranging flowers for Sunday worship.
Lunch will be served afterward. Join our flower committee!
