We will meet July 17 at 11 AM at the Franklin Factory for lunch at Saffire’s. We will then go across the street to the just opened Hayes House at Harlinsdale Farm for a brief tour. The house is small & accessible (first floor only), but full of history about Franklin and the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry. Sign up online or on the bulletin board in Wilson Hall. Two opportunities to serve! "Gifts of the Heart" is a program run by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) that involves assembling kits containing essential items for disaster relief, tangible offerings of support and hope. The program is a partnership with Church World Service, a faith-based organization who distributes the kits to express compassion and provide immediate relief.

We will meet in Wilson Hall at 9 AM.

July 19: Hygiene Kits: Containing items like soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

August 2: School Kits: Including notebooks, pencils, erasers and other school supplies.

Mountain T.O.P. in Coalmont, TN needs FPC Franklin’s help. Our upcoming domestic mission trip will be held October 23-26 to assist their community with major home repairs or staff their fall festival. No construction experience is necessary. Rally Day is August 17! All ages are invited to join us in the sanctuary at 9 AM to kickoff the Christian Education year and learn about our Sunday School offerings. In worship that day, we will present our upper elementary students with a Deep Blue Kids' Wonder Bible, so if you have a kid (rising 3rd grade through 5th grade) who hasn't received that Bible and would like to, please email Sam Belcher.

Choir Recruitment – While summer is here, it is never too early to think about joining your “musical tithe” to ours this coming fall. The Chancel Choir returns to the loft on Sunday, August 17, while regular mid-week rehearsals resume on Wednesday, August 20. Additionally, the Carillon Handbell Choir also resumes on Wednesday, August 20. Plan now to join us. Please contact Michael Snoddy for more information.
