Preaching: Eddie Bellis

Three great ways to stay connected! Please note that we meet for lunch at Serrato's Steakhouse Friday, March 28 (not March 27 as previously listed).

Starting TOMORROW, Wednesday, March 12 from 10:00-11:00 AM, Pastor Eddie will offer a book study and video series in room 210. The book is called He Chose the Nails by Rev. Max Lucado. Let me offer you a quick introduction to the study. In He Chose the Nails, Max Lucado observes that the last moments leading up to Jesus’ death were not left up to chance.

Max states, “God chose the path; Jesus selected the nails. Our Lord planted the trio of crosses and painted the sign. God was never more sovereign than in the details of the death of God’s Son. And in those details are gifts Christ provided for us...the cross. The thorns. The nails. His seamless robe. The empty tomb. God didn’t have to give us all these things, you know. The only required act for our salvation was the shedding of blood, yet God did much more. So much more.”
