This week's scripture for reflection: Mark 11:1-11

We will combine elements from both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday for this service, starting with a meal, liturgy, homily, and Communion in Wilson Hall, and then moving to the Sanctuary to observe the Tenebrae darkening of the candles. We will begin at 6 PM.

Join us Saturday, March 30 at 10 AM for our annual Easter egg hunt. We ask for each child to bring one dozen filled eggs. We will provide a goody bag, craft, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Easter Sunrise Service and Breakfast will be here at FPC Franklin at 6 AM, March 31. Sign up here for the breakfast. Additional services will be held at 8:30 AM and 10:15 AM. There will also be 9 AM Easter activities in Wilson Hall for all ages

Sisters in Spirit will be starting a new study on Friday, March 22. We will be reading Practically Divine by Becca Stevens. Becca is an Episcopal priest at Vanderbilt and founder of Thistle Farms in Nashville. Becca will be the keynote speaker at Montreat's Women's Connection this August. We would love to have women of the church join us for discussion, fellowship and prayer every Friday at 10 AM in the Parlor. Contact Martha Johnson or Cindy Blackburn for more information.

Lent is a wonderful time to consider the discipline of giving as part of the spiritual life.

THIS WEEK, we ask that you submit your Estimate of Giving by Commitment Sunday, March 24. 

There is also a place on our website where you can submit an Estimate of Giving.

Many have requested a duplicate nametag to keep in Wilson Hall, and we have listened! If you want a second nametag printed to keep in Wilson Hall, you can email Catherine Olson or request one via the Connection Card. We will also be placing a basket in the narthex where you can drop off your Wilson Hall nametag after worship, and it will be back in Wilson Hall for you for WNL.

Would you like to meet fellow members of FPC in a small group setting and share a meal together? If so, Dinner for 8 is for you. Dinner for 8 will be Saturday, April 13 from 6-8 pm at various members homes. Dinner will be provided.

As registration forms are received, the Fellowship Committee will put people together so that each group has, at most, eight adults, taking into account the location preference that you listed. Groups may be comprised of all couples, two couples and four singles, one couple and six singles, etc. It all depends on who signs up. The mystery of who you will be dining with is part of the excitement! 

Your dinner host, companions, and location will be revealed about two weeks before the dinner.

The need for Meals on Wheels is greater than ever in our community, and our ministry has the following immediate needs:

Volunteers - drivers/riders for a couple of routes

Volunteers - Kitchen helpers

Donations - You can make one-time or ongoing donations ear marked for Meals on Wheels through FPC and this coming month we have the opportunity to participate in the FUMC's Run for Missions which will be supporting Franklin Community Meals on Wheels this year.

Please prayerfully consider supporting Meals on Wheels with your time, your financial support, and your prayers. The time commitment is 1 day per month for less than 2 hours which is a small amount of time that comes with great reward.
