Sunday Morning Worship

Join us for worship this Sunday at 10:15 AM in-person and livestream. Sunday Wonder Hour for all ages is at 9:00 AM, with Common Grounds at 9:45 AM.

You can find past sermons and the upcoming order of worship on our website.

This week's scripture for reflection: John 17: 1-11.

We look forward to celebrating Senior Sunday and hearing from senior preachers Caroline Oldham and Ashlyn Moyers.
This Sunday, our seniors in high school will be preaching and honored during a special luncheon. We will be recognizing: Lee Gottlieb, Anna Marie Love, Ashlyn Moyers, Caroline Oldham, and Madison Zander. If you remember teaching their Sunday school, going to NaCoMe with their Trek 56, or serving together on a FPC project, we would love to have you celebrate with their families at the Senior Luncheon. Children’s Compassion Camp 2023
June 4-August 20
What Every Living Thing Needs

Children aged 4 – 5th grade will gather each Sunday this summer at 9 AM to explore what all living things need to live – shelter, food, water, air, and community – and how we can have compassion for the living earth, especially in their local ecosystems. The children will gather at the pavilion, and all the FPC outdoor environment will be our classroom. Psalm 104 will be our main text and through awareness, gratitude, wonderment, reciprocity, and kinship, we will consider how to become co-sustainers and participants in the work of God’s creation. We will have physical movement along with a mix of craft, activities, games and compassion in action. Contact Kim Joiner for more info or to volunteer.

Waverly Mission Trip Pictures

We had a great week working in Waverly, TN for our annual Domestic Mission Trip! Thanks to all the volunteers who came out for a day or for the whole week to help us rebuild homes after their devastating flooding. We spent the week working with the Appalachia Service Project and were hosted by Waverly Church of Christ. We are grateful for the community's abundant hospitality.

The PC(USA) General Assembly wants to know more about how families are changing or staying the same. They have asked for their Changing Families survey to be shared with all the churches in our denomination. Please fill out this survey by May 31 to share your feedback.
