Memorial Tree Dedication: Join us next Sunday, June 4 in memory of Jeanette Crosswhite. Members of the Feasting on the Word Sunday school class and Sisters in Spirit are inviting everyone who knew Jeanette to join for a brief service of dedication after worship. The tree is located by the outdoor labyrinth with bench and birdbath. Friends of FPC are invited to attend.
Children’s Compassion Camp 2023
June 4-August 20
What Every Living Thing Needs

Children aged 4 – 5th grade will gather each Sunday this summer at 9 AM to explore what all living things need to live – shelter, food, water, air, and community – and how we can have compassion for the living earth, especially in their local ecosystems. The children will gather in the courtyard, and all the FPC outdoor environment will be our classroom. Psalm 104 will be our main text and through awareness, gratitude, wonderment, reciprocity, and kinship, we will consider how to become co-sustainers and participants in the work of God’s creation. We will have physical movement along with a mix of craft, activities, games and compassion in action. Contact Kim Joiner for more info or to volunteer.

On May 10, our youth group cooked, hosted, and spoke at our first ever Volunteer Appreciation Dinner! Throughout the year, we have so many wonderful volunteers serving our youth group as Sunday School teachers, SNS Adult Participants, Trip Leaders, and so much more. We wanted to take the time to honor and recognize them with a special dinner, cooked and served by our youth. It was a fantastic night, and many of our students got to share heartfelt messages about the impact the volunteers have had on their lives.

FPC Youth loves its Adult Participants!
