2021 Annual Report
We have added more ministry reports from the last year and you can read the report HERE.
Summer Children’s Worship for June and July
Ages 4, 5, and Kindergarten children will enjoy a relaxed outdoor story book reading and prayer walk. Then we will take the children for a short play time on the playground. The children will be returned to the sanctuary near the end of the service.
Contact Katie Oldham if your older child would like to be a junior helper for the summer. Youth and Adult helpers please sign up on the Ministry Scheduler app.
Sisters in Spirit will resume their Friday morning meetings on June 3 in the church parlor from 10:30-11:15 AM, with a zoom option.

Our new study is a book by Sarah Bessey, Miracles and Other Reasonable Things: A Story of Learning and Unlearning God. Sarah is the key leader for the Montreat Women’s Connection 2022, August 12 - 14. Those of us planning to attend this conference are excited about getting to know Sarah through her writing ahead of the conference. And those who will not be attending can participate too through reading this book! We would love to have you join our small group for this study. Contact Martha Johnson, Cindy Blackburn or Janice Eddlemon for more info.

If you are interested in the Montreat conference, contact Kim Joiner. We have rented two houses and love to help women experience this paradise on earth for the first time!
Franklin Pride Festival:
Saturday, June 4, 12-7 PM
Join us at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, where there will be live music and performances from 12 to 7 PM. This is a free event with free parking. FPC will have a tent set up and we need volunteers to welcome guests and hand out FPC swag! We'll need at least 2 people per 2-hour slot, so sign up with your family or a friend! The last 2-hour shift includes tearing down the tent at the end of the night. Sign up HERE to volunteer.
Worship Flowers
Do you enjoy the worship flowers each Sunday? We have many open dates for you to donate flowers in memory or in honor of or in celebration or thanksgiving for anyone or anything. These worship flowers are then broken down into smaller arrangements on Mondays and delivered to members of our congregation as a reminder of God’s love and our prayers. We also donate a rosebud for the new births of our members. Click here to sign up today.

Thank you for showing love for your Neighbor through your recent contribution of $792.00 to GraceWorks Ministries. You made it possible for struggling families to avoid eviction, potential homelessness, hunger, utility disconnection, and other troubles.
Did you know your church first started giving to The Outreach Foundation in 1996? Since that time, you have generously given through the years $78,414.41 to the following ministries: Ukraine Appeal, Ministry of The Outreach Foundation, Near East School of Theology, Holistic Evangelism in Tete Province, Mozambique, Where Needed Most. Your legacy of generosity gives us confidence that The Outreach Foundation will continue to flourish, despite the world's uncertainties and upheavals.
I wanted to pause and say how very grateful our community is for your faithful friendship and support. FPC's gift of $2,500 over the course of the year was instrumental in helping UKirk come back from Covid, restart ministry in person, and create meaningful worship, fellowship, and discipleship experiences for college students and young adults. I hope we'll have even more opportunities for connection in the fall.
