Women's Retreat

"People of God, hear this good news: You are a beloved child of God. God loves you. God does not love you for your contributions, your success, your efficiency, your perfection. God loves you and God’s image is in you."

Rachael Jorstad

The weekend retreat allowed us time and space to hear and reflect on this good news that we already knew but needed to hear anew. Rachael Jorstad led 28 of us through encountering the Divine with Centering Prayer, Visio Divina, Lectio Divina, Sabbath Walks, and Holy Journaling. We encountered the Divine as individuals and as a community. Our encounters included meeting the Divine with table fellowship, games, laughter and tears, crafts, hikes, porch, and fireside chats, and even axe throwing! Our community included women aged 23 to 85. NaCoMe Camp is the perfect environment for making new friends and connecting with those you don’t see every week. Make plans to join us next year: Nov. 1-3, 2024.
