Being Mortal is an educational series to help you make decisions for a better quality of life when a serious illness, medical emergency, or advanced aging disrupts the norm. The series is for adults of every age and stage in life and should help you and your family be better equipped for conversations and decisions that are needed. Adults 55+ will meet 10 AM on Monday, October 16, for our fall bus tour. County Historian Rick Warwick will lead us on a tour of the Bethesda Community. Bring a sack lunch. Women's Retreat Friday, November 3 - Sunday, November 5 at beautiful NaCoMe. The theme this year is "Encountering the Divine," led by Rachel Jorstad. Our experiences in the Saturday Men's Bible Study have been very rewarding. as we have studied through the New Testament one book at a time. We will begin a new study discussing books of the Old Testament beginning with Genesis.
All men are invited to participate. No scholars here, simply men seeking to know God's Word in practical ways.
The Moore family will be leaving NaCoMe and transitioning to their next chapter in 2024 and moving back to their home state, South Carolina. Ryan (Flash) will be working with his camp consulting agency full-time, while Sam works remotely for camp through the transition. They have been at NaCoMe for 9 years and have had a great deal of impact at camp. Please send cards by Dec. 1.
