Being Mortal is an educational series to help you make decisions for a better quality of life when a serious illness, medical emergency, or advanced aging disrupts the norm. The series is for adults of every age and stage in life and should help you and your family be better equipped for conversations and decisions that are needed. There is a special workshop on November 11. Adults 55+ will meet 10 AM on Monday, October 16, for our fall bus tour. County Historian Rick Warwick will lead us on a tour of the Bethesda Community. Bring a sack lunch. Water and iced tea will be provided. We will return to the church after 1 PM. For more info contact Martha Johnson. The bus is filling up but carpools will follow along. Sign up here. Rick's book will be available for purchase the morning of the tour for $30, with proceeds going to the Williamson County Historical Society.
