Open My Eyes
We will serve ice cream in Wilson Hall beginning at 3 PM, and you will add your favorite toppings to create your unique sundae. Enjoy the fellowship, food, and fun inside or bring chairs/blankets to enjoy this end of summer treat in the courtyard where we will have cornhole, sidewalk chalk, and fun for all ages. Come enjoy a cool treat on a warm day as we celebrate the return to our regular Sunday schedule.
Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry will resume meeting on the first and third Monday of each month starting back August 15. We
would love new members! So whether you have been
knitting or crocheting for years or want to learn,
contact Karen Hanson to learn more. ([email protected]).
Meal Ministry
Whether it is celebrating the birth of a child or supporting a family after surgery, illness or loss of a loved one, members of First Presbyterian are always there to show God's love through providing a meal. Many times, one meal is all a family or individual needs before getting back to their regular routines; however, some require lengthier meal care. If you feel called to serve in this ministry as a preparer or deliverer of food, or if you are in need of a meal, contact Sue Mahurin.
Worship Flowers
Do you enjoy the worship flowers each Sunday? We have open dates for you to donate flowers in memory or in honor of or in celebration or thanksgiving for anyone or anything. These worship flowers are then broken down into smaller arrangements on Mondays and delivered to members of our congregation as a reminder of God’s love and our prayers. We also donate a rosebud for the newest births in our church.
Fall Growth Groups

The Growth Group book for this fall is Searching for Happiness: How Generosity, Faith, and Other Spiritual Habits Can Lead to a Full Life by Martin Thielen. Groups will begin after Labor Day and meet until Thanksgiving. Look for announcement of group options in mid-August.
