The season of Lent begins Ash Wednesday, February 22. We will soon be publishing a calendar guide of various worship, service, and education offerings that will happen this Season. In the meantime, if you would like to pre-order a copy of this year's Lenten Devotional guide, please fill out the form located at this link.

Pictured below, this year's devotional can be downloaded digitally or we will print a set for you to take home and cut into a deck of cards. The cards, one for each day in Lent, offer activities encouraging us to pray, fast, and give as a means of walking through the wilderness with Jesus as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter resurrection.

This devotional is available free of charge, a gift of the Christian Education ministries of First Presbyterian that is supported by your annual pledged giving.

Adult Sunday School Offering

If you are an adult member or visitor of our church and have not yet found a Sunday School "home," the Former Library Class will meet Sunday morning at 9:45 in Room 308 for fellowship and beginning talks about future studies! Pick up a cup of coffee and donut in Baird Hall and join us with your ideas about what studies interest you!

Second Saturdays at the Community Market

The Community Market has seen an incredible increase in the number of clients seeking assistance with food insecurity. If you would like to come help, we have an opportunity to volunteer coming up on February 11 from 9am-12pm - all ages are welcome!

Sign up to provide dinner to the college students!

If you would like to get to know our college students, consider signing up to bring dinner for UKirk one Sunday evening this semester. We typically have 12-15 students come to dinner and volunteers bring a main dish, salad or side, and dessert. You are welcome to stay for dinner or drop something off. If you are unable to bring a dinner, but would like to contribute to feeding the students, you can make a donation to UKirk by sending a check made out to the church with "UKirk Meal Fund" written in the memo. Thank you for supporting UKirk and the college students!

Sign up to bring dinner here!
