Sanctuary on Sundays
Our sanctuary will continue to be open on Sundays for individuals or family groups for personal worship, reflection, and prayer time. You may sign up for a 30-minute block of time to enjoy the beauty and stillness of the newly renovated sanctuary. There will be a prayer journal station in the narthex that can be used as a guest log to record greetings to fellow congregants and/or prayer concerns/joys for our community. (Drawings are welcome too!) A book cart is also available with resources including our prayer list, Bibles, hymnbooks, and children’s books. You will enter the narthex using the SIDE handicap accessible entrance under the cloth awning and push the handicap accessible button on the awning post to open the door. We pray you will be blessed during this time, and we are all lifting prayers for our world, our church family, and ourselves while we are unable to worship together in the sanctuary.
COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution
Exciting news for all who are 70+! Williamson County has lowered the age eligible to join the waitlist for a vaccine. Williamson County continues to vaccinate those who are eligible and strives to communicate effectively to the public. In that process, they recognize faith based organizations as a key partner in communication. We will continue to update our website with new COVID-19 information. Williamson County is current vaccinating Phase 1a1, 1a2, and Individuals 70+, and those who qualify can put their names on the wait list here. We encourage everyone else to sign up for the Williamson County Alert System here so you will be notified when you are eligible. Additionally, many of our members have been able to receive vaccinations from Vanderbilt through myhealthatvanderbilt.com.

The Williamson County Public Information Line: (615) 595-4880
Available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
This line assists with the following:
  • Vaccine Scheduling
  • Waitlist Sign-ups
  • Answering Frequently Asked Questions
  • Vaccine Alert Sign-Ups

*If you are eligible for the vaccine, currently on the wait list, and waiting to hear back, please make sure you check your email each morning and evening including your spam/junk folder. When the county emails you about making your appointment, the Signup Genius link they send will only be active for 48 hours from when created.

We continue to pray for all who are sick with COVID-19 and all who are caring for those who are sick as we also give thanks for all who are helping organize and distribute the vaccine. If you need help registering for the vaccine, contact Anne Keener (615-794-5114 x219) and someone from church will reach out to help you.
Congregational Care - Caring for One Another
Zoom Check-in with Anne
Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. We encourage each of you to continue reaching out to others. It is a gift to them, and a gift to you. We have gathered some mental health resources on our website that are helpful for all of us. We encourage you to review those for yourself and those you love.

We are made for connection, and we invite you to join Anne Keener on Zoom anytime from 11:30-12:30 this Wednesday, February 3, to check-in, say hello, and connect with others. As a pastoral staff we continue to pray for each of you and encourage you to reach out to one of us if you need to talk for any reason.
Urgent need for Flower Vases
Do you have extra flower vases that you could donate for us to use when delivering flowers each week? If so, please bring to church this week and place in the bin marked vases. If you have vases to donate but are unable to bring them to church, please contact Anne Keener (615-794-5114 x219). Thank you in advance.
Yoga moving to Thursday
Yoga is moving to Thursday mornings at 9:00 beginning in Lent, so February 18. We hope this time with work for you whether you have practiced with us in the past or are completely new to yoga.

We practice together via Zoom using a video and then have time for conversation and prayer. Click here to join us or contact Betty Barcheski to learn more. All are welcome.
Stephen Ministry: A Stephen Minister's Insight
"Walking alongside a care receiver who is grieving is your gift to them. Those allowing you to walk alongside them is their gift to you. But the biggest gift is God working through this caring relationship to heal a person's heart. That's a gift to both of you."

Are you grieving? Job loss, broken relationships, loss of social situations due to Covid-19, or loss of a loved one can all affect us in the form of grief. If you would like a confidential care giver to walk alongside you, please contact Stephen Leader, Judi Arnold (615.579.0364) or one of the FPC Pastors.  Our Stephen Ministers are ready to care for you.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Dear Prayer Shawl Ministry,
Thank you so much for this thoughtful and meaningful gift. I’m so grateful for this prayer shawl and this blessing from all of you. It truly touches my spirit in the midst of a difficult season. Each time I use it, I will find comfort and also be reminded of the love of this congregation, as well as of the love and memories of my granddad.
Blessings,
Mary Sellers
