Congregational Care - Caring for One Another
Summer Growth Groups

Community has always been important, but in the last few months we have become even more aware of its importance in our lives. We learned through our survey that 95% of respondents feel connected to our congregation and that Zoom small groups have helped keep those connections strong. With that in mind, we are offering Summer Growth Groups this year.

Here are the details:
·       Meet weekly for 1 hour via Zoom
·       Begin the week of June 28 for 6 weeks
·       Discuss the Scripture for the upcoming Sunday worship
·       Build community through sharing, discussion, and prayer

Group options include:
·       Monday, 10-11 AM
·       Monday, 7-8 PM
·       Tuesday, 10-11 AM
·       Tuesday, 7-8 PM
·       Wednesday, 8:30-9:30 PM

Choose a time that works for you, and then  click here  to sign up today. Deadline to register is  Sunday, June 21 . Contact a member of the Growth Group Ministry Team with any questions.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We are happy to share some thank you notes from those in our congregation who have received a prayer shawl:

Thanks to the Prayer Shawl Ministry of the church. I just love it and it is so beautiful and to think it was made with love makes it even more comforting. God has helped me in so many ways for the loss of my sister. The Prayer Shawl has added to the comfort. Love and blessings to all of you.
Katie Schutt

Thanks so much for the lovely prayer shawl. I use it each day and am so thankful for our wonderful church. Many years ago I knitted and crocheted and I really appreciate the lovely handwork. Your work accompanies me every morning as I read and pray. God bless!
Jeanne Pritchard

Yoga

You are invited! All are welcome to join us on Thursdays at 9:30 AM on Zoom for yoga. It is a wonderful way to build community and move your body. All levels are welcome and have welcomed many for their first yoga experience. We utilize Yoga with Adriene videos so we are all watching her video, not each other. After our yoga practice, we have a time of checking in with one another and prayer.  Click here for the link. We hope you will join us.
Share your story! We want to check in with you about how you are doing and share messages of hope with our congregation and wider community. Fill out  this form   to share a picture and a blurb with us about your quarantine experience. Entries will be featured in our weekly E-News and on Social Media. We look forward to seeing your faces and hearing what you’ve been up to!
