(Stations are for all ages!)
ADVENTure 2020: November 29
Advent Take Home Bags for Families with Children

A blue adventure bag has been prepared as a gift for families with children to enhance the season of waiting. Stop by the sanctuary doors and pick up one bag per family anytime beginning Sunday, November 29. The blues of Advent represent hope and expectation for our hearts and homes to be open to the promised light of Christ. You will find some familiar Advent Workshop items and some new ways to help your family show love and gratitude this season.
Children Sunday School on Zoom
Our Advent season will kick off a new multi-age class at 9:45 AM each Sunday morning on Zoom. We will begin with a check in game, Advent lighting ritual, Bible story and weekly ways to engage in the story. The children will continue their weekly Zoom check in on Wednesdays at 5:30, however, will be off when WCS is on holiday Nov. 25, Dec. 23 & 30.

Prime Timers Christmas on Zoom
Although Prime Timers can’t gather for a potluck dinner as we normally do in December, we can be together virtually for a special evening visiting the homes of Dale and Barbara Roos and Claire Crunk to view their decorations on multiple Christmas trees. Then, Michael Snoddy will give us a virtual tour of the organ and share interesting moments evolving from the installation. Please join us December 17th at 7pm by clicking the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81951665236.
Wednesday Night Live (WNL)
Feedback Needed
WNL means many things to many people. It is hard to even capture all it offers, from table fellowship and nourishment to worship, study, and service, and of course laughter, tears, and hugs together. We all prefer WNL to be in person, but until that time, we are continuing to adapt. We are seeking input from
two groups of people with two different surveys. Your feedback is important to help as we plan for the new year and will take 2-3 minutes to complete. WNL is a joint ministry of many committees and is currently providing a Zoom meeting for children’s gatherings at 5:30 PM, fellowship/dinner chat at 6:00 PM, and adult/youth Christian education programs at 6:30 PM.

If you participated in a least ONE section of WNL this fall, please complete this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6VJLL73
If you have had NO participation this fall, please complete this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KHC2QSH

The Adult Christian Education Committee has designed this survey and will share with the staff and related committees as we move forward and plan for 2021. You are welcome to contact Kim Joiner, Director of Christian Education, if you prefer to give feedback directly by email or phone. [email protected] 615-794-5114 Ext 209
