Task Force Update

We are excited to announce that the FPC COVID Task Force is relaxing the COVID protocols in light of dropping case numbers, test positivity, and hospitalizations in our area.

Masking is now optional for all indoor activities. If you choose to wear a mask, we continue to strongly encourage an N-95 or surgical mask. We also strongly encourage unvaccinated persons to mask.

Wednesday Night Live will resume in person with a meal starting February 16. The deadline for reserving a meal is Sunday evening. Click HERE to make your reservation.

Congregational singing is resuming this Sunday, along with the offering plates being passed. Sunday school classes for all ages may resume in person if desired.

As always, we encourage everyone to be mindful of how you are feeling and worship with us from home if you think you may be sick.

Mission
February 2NDSAT

GraceWorks focuses on four areas—family support, instructional programs, seasonal needs and hunger prevention. They provide both immediate and long-term resources. For this February 2NDSAT, we begin the morning by unpacking and laying out the assembly line of the gathered food supplies for Fuel Bags. Once this is in place, we begin filling the bags and place them in boxes for transport. These fuel bags will be sent home from schools with kids to help them through the weekend. Join us as we serve our neighbors!
Have you submitted your design for our new FPC T-shirts yet? Everyone is encouraged to submit a design (front and back) and we will all vote on our favorite! The winning design will be the inspiration for the new shirts! You can drop off a drawing at the office or email Mary Sellers. Deadline to submit is February 14 and voting starts February 15!
Franklin Tomorrow will host its monthly FrankTalks lecture on Monday, Feb. 14, at 9:30 a.m. at Columbia State Community College, Building A, 1228 Liberty Pike, in east Franklin.
As this is Black History Month, we will discuss "Significant Sites in Franklin's African American History."
The following speakers have been invited to participate.
McLemore House & AAHS: Alma McLemore
Merrill-Williams House: Thelma Battle
Green Book House & Natchez Community: Dr. Kenneth Hill
