Stewardship 2020
Grace to you, and peace.
As we continue through this time of reflection on stewardship, I pray these two words - grace and peace - will be a lens through which you can reflect on the blessings of God and how you can respond to God’s grace in your giving. If the pandemic has not affected your financial situation, please remember to make an estimate of giving for 2021 THIS SUNDAY, November 15, for Commitment Sunday. If you are unable to do so, please continue to pray for the mission of the church and consider other ways you can be involved in God’s work in the world. Together, we will move into the future God has prepared.
Mission
November 2NDSAT
Help us prepare for colder weather! The FPC congregation is invited to make fleece tie blankets (at home) to be given to Downtown Presbyterian Church’s clothing closet. No sewing is required! 30 fleece balance kits (with directions) will be available for drive-by pickup on Saturday, Nov. 14 between 9-11 AM and Sunday, Nov. 15 before and after the 8:30 service. Drop off the homemade blankets OR new/gently used blankets to the drop-off bins located by the church narthex by Nov. 22 at noon. Email [email protected] with any questions.
GraceWorks Manger
Join in this annual tradition! Beginning November 14, FPC will collect gifts for children age 0-18 (NO adults gifts will be collected). Gifts can be dropped off outside the Sanctuary doors on select days in boxes provided by GraceWorks.

Visit http://fpcfranklin.org/serve/graceworks-manger for more information and to find virtual Christmas tree tags for gift ideas!

If you'd like to buy gifts online, you can also shop GraceWorks' Amazon Wishlist. Gifts will be sent directly to GraceWorks!

The Confirmation class is once again sponsoring a volunteer night (tentatively with their Covid-19 protocol), so mark your calendar for December 18.

Ways We're Serving as a Church
The Mission Committee is excited to announce two new ways we are giving during this winter season. Our church is sponsoring Thanksgiving dinner for the families at Safe Haven Family Shelter so that they can have a safe, hope-filled holiday. We also are purchasing tents for Open Table Nashville, along with a financial donation for the purchase of propane tanks. These tents and propane tanks will be given to unsheltered people around the Nashville area. We are thankful for the support of the FPC community as we continue to find new ways to love our neighbors during this season.
Gratitude Blog
What fills you with gratitude? Follow our Gratitude Blog during the month of November as 30 different members share what they are grateful for these days. Click on the Gratitude Blog box on our homepage to read the blog each day. We will also share a Gratitude quote from each day on our Instagram & Facebook stories.
